Neither the Kia Sedona nor the Dodge Grand Caravan has a marked advantage in terms of seating capacity. Towing is substantially more the Dodge Grand Caravan's forte than it is the Kia Sedona's.

Performance
In terms of horsepower, the Kia Sedona packs quite a punch and will knock the Dodge Grand Caravan down a few rungs. However, note that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Dimensions
The Dodge Grand Caravan's tank is about the same size as the Kia's, though the Kia Sedona's is slightly larger. The Kia Sedona and the Dodge Grand Caravan compete for the same parking spaces.

Convenience
You won't have to visit your friendly gas station more often with the Dodge Grand Caravan than with the Kia Sedona, because both offer comparable ranges.

Taller drivers will substantially enjoy the extra head room in the Kia Sedona's front cabin compared to the Grand Caravan. The Sedona provides more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the Dodge Grand Caravan does.
