The 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan minivan is available in five trim levels and offers a practical and comfortable choice for families with lots of cargo space, versatile seating configurations, and strong towing capacity.
The Grand Caravan’s 283-horsepower, 3.6-liter, V-6 engine with E85 ethanol flex fuel capability delivers 260 pounds-feet of torque and has a maximum towing capacity of up to 3,600 pounds when properly equipped. A six-speed automatic transmission is standard and a performance-tuned suspension is available on R/T trim level.
With gasoline, the Grand Caravan is rated at 17 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway. The flex fuel E85 ethanol fuel provides 12 mpg in the city and 18 mpg on the highway.
The Grand Caravan is capable of carrying seven passengers, and the second- and third-row seats can fold into in-floor storage wells for a completely flat cargo floor.
