Dodge Durango Hybrid vs. Infiniti FX35 Review

Performance
With that kind of horsepower, both the Infiniti FX35 and the Durango Hybrid are legitimate speedsters.

Handling
With its tighter turning circle, the Infiniti FX35 is quite certainly more agile than the Dodge, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; on the flip side, bear in mind that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

Drivetrain
The FX35's engine is tremendously smaller than the Dodge Durango Hybrid's. Remember that smaller engines can be stressed more; on the other hand, smaller engines are often cheaper to fix. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the Dodge is substantially more powerful than the FX35. The Infiniti could learn a lesson or two from the Dodge Durango Hybrid when it comes to pickup.

Utility
Drivers with frequent kid-duty might favor the Dodge Durango Hybrid over the FX35. The Durango Hybrid is likely a better choice than the Infiniti FX35 regarding transporting cargo, especially if you often need to carry a lot of stuff or massive dogs. The Dodge Durango Hybrid outpulls the Infiniti FX35 by a big margin.

Convenience
The Infiniti FX35's fuel tank will need to be replenished more often than the unit in the Dodge.

Comfort
Taller drivers will significantly enjoy the extra head room in the Dodge's front cabin compared to the Infiniti FX35. The Durango Hybrid provides more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the Infiniti FX35 does.

Dimensions
The Dodge Durango Hybrid is substantially more bulky than the Infiniti. The Infiniti FX35's tank is approximately the same size as the Dodge Durango Hybrid's, though the Dodge's is a bit bigger. The Infiniti FX35 and the Dodge Durango Hybrid compete for the same parking spaces.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs almost the same to get the Dodge Durango Hybrid to the dealership as the FX35. Producing a precise fuel economy evaluation is so tricky that some think not even the federal government can do it, but it looks as though the Dodge Durango Hybrid is the winner when it comes to fuel economy. The Infiniti isn't much less expensive than the Dodge in terms of MSRP.

Warranty
The basic after-sale protection that comes with the Dodge Durango Hybrid isn't quite as generous as the Infiniti FX35's.
