In terms of MSRP, the Dodge Durango Hybrid costs approximately as much as the HUMMER H3 SUV (though the HUMMER H3 SUV is a bit cheaper). The Dodge Durango Hybrid will save you a bundle at the pump every year compared to the HUMMER H3 SUV. The H3 SUV will cost you a bundle in gas every year compared to the Dodge Durango Hybrid.

Utility
The Dodge Durango Hybrid will most definitely prove more practical than the H3 SUV for those of you with frequent child-cargo. The Dodge Durango Hybrid is a better choice than the HUMMER H3 SUV with respect to transporting cargo, especially if you often need to carry a lot of luggage or massive pets. There's little the HUMMER H3 SUV can tow that the Dodge cannot.
