Dodge Durango Hybrid vs. Audi Q7 Review

The Dodge Durango Hybrid will most certainly prove handier than the Audi Q7 for those of you with frequent kid-cargo. The Q7 outpulls the Dodge Durango Hybrid by a sizeable margin.

Performance
In terms of horsepower, the Durango Hybrid packs quite a wallop and will knock the Audi Q7 down a few rungs. On the other hand, remember that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Dimensions
The Audi Q7's tank is about the same size as the Dodge Durango Hybrid's, though the Dodge Durango Hybrid's is somewhat bigger. The Audi Q7 and the Dodge Durango Hybrid compete for the same parking spaces.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs almost the same to get the Q7 to the dealership as the Dodge Durango Hybrid. With respect to MSRP, the Q7 costs considerably more than the Durango Hybrid.

Handling
With their comparable turning radiuses, the Audi Q7 and the Dodge quite certainly handle roughly the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Q7's engine is tremendously smaller than the Dodge Durango Hybrid's. Keep in mind that smaller engines can be stressed more; on the flip side, smaller engines are often cheaper to fix. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the Durango Hybrid is considerably more powerful than the Q7.

Comfort
Taller drivers will significantly enjoy the extra head room in the Durango Hybrid's front cabin compared to the Audi Q7. While the rear of the Durango Hybrid provides a bit more head- and leg-room than the Audi, there honestly isn't much of a difference.
