The Dodge Durango will most definitely prove more practical than the Audi Q5 for those of you with frequent child-cargo. The Dodge Durango is likely a better choice than the Audi Q5 with respect to transporting cargo, especially if you often need to carry a lot of gear or big pets. Towing is significantly more the Dodge's forte than it is the Audi Q5's.

Dimensions
Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Durango than the Audi Q5 because of its bigger tank. The Audi Q5 and the Dodge Durango compete for the same parking spaces. The Audi Q5's shorter wheelbase may produce a less-settled highway ride but a more maneuverable feel in daily traffic than the Dodge.

The Audi Q5's fuel tank will need to be replenished slightly more often than the unit in the Dodge Durango.
