The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs roughly the same to get the Dodge Charger to the dealership as the Volvo S60. The Volvo S60 will save you money at the pump compared to the Dodge Charger. The Dodge Charger isn't much less pricey than the Volvo when it comes to MSRP.

Utility
The Volvo S60 and the Dodge Charger can accommodate the same number of passengers. The Dodge Charger is a better choice than the Volvo S60 as far as hauling capacity, especially if you frequently need to carry a lot of luggage or dogs. Towing is significantly more the Volvo S60's forte than it is the Dodge's.

Convenience
The Dodge's fuel tank will need to be replenished somewhat more often than the unit in the Volvo S60.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Volvo offers a bit more head room than the Dodge, there honestly isn't much of a difference. The ampler interior dimensions of the Dodge Charger make it significantly more spacious for your passengers than the S60.

Dimensions
The Volvo S60's tank is about the same size as the Dodge Charger's, though the Dodge Charger's is a tad bigger. The Volvo S60 and the Dodge Charger compete for the same parking spaces. The Dodge Charger's longer wheelbase will result in a smoother, more stable ride; on the flip side, the Volvo may give a more agile feel in daily traffic.

Performance
With respect to horsepower, the Dodge Charger packs quite a wallop and will knock the Volvo S60 down a few rungs. On the flip side, keep in mind that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Drivetrain
The Volvo S60's engine is a bit smaller than the Dodge Charger's, but not terribly so. Torque equals pickup, and the Volvo S60 will have picked up and gone by the time the Dodge Charger finally gets moving. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the Volvo S60 is significantly more powerful than the Dodge Charger.

Warranty
The basic warranty that comes with the Dodge Charger isn't quite as generous as the S60's.
