Dodge Charger vs. Mercedes-Benz C-Class Review

Utility
Neither the Mercedes-Benz C-Class nor the Dodge Charger has a marked advantage in terms of seating capacity.

Performance
Regarding horsepower, the Dodge Charger packs quite a punch and will knock the Mercedes-Benz C-Class down a few rungs. On the flip side, keep in mind that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Dimensions
The Mercedes-Benz C-Class's tank is about the same size as the Dodge Charger's, though the Dodge Charger's is somewhat bigger. The Mercedes-Benz C-Class and the Dodge Charger compete for the same parking spaces. The Mercedes-Benz C-Class's shorter wheelbase will likely give a nimbler feel in daily traffic. On the flip side, the Dodge Charger is likely to have a smoother, more stable ride.

Convenience
You quite certainly won't have to visit your friendly gas station more often with the Mercedes-Benz C-Class than with the Dodge Charger, because both offer similar ranges.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. The Dodge is considerably cheaper to get to the dealership than the Mercedes-Benz. Producing an accurate gas mileage evaluation is so tricky that some think not even the federal government can do it, but it looks as though both the Mercedes-Benz C-Class and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class perform approximately comparably regarding gas mileage. The Mercedes-Benz won't save you much money at the pump compared to the Dodge Charger. In terms of MSRP, the Dodge costs substantially less than the C-Class.

Handling
With its tighter turning circle, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class is definitely more agile than the Dodge Charger, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; on the flip side, keep in mind that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

Drivetrain
The Dodge Charger's engine is considerably smaller than the Mercedes-Benz's. Bear in mind that smaller engines can be stressed more; on the other hand, smaller engines typically get better gas mileage. The Mercedes-Benz C-Class packs quite a wallop compared to the Dodge Charger with respect to torque, which is the force that lets you accelerate quickly. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the C-Class is substantially more powerful than the Dodge.

Comfort
Taller drivers will significantly enjoy the extra head room in the Dodge Charger's front cabin compared to the C-Class. The ampler interior dimensions of the Dodge Charger make it significantly roomier for your passengers than the C-Class.

Overview
The basic warranty that comes with the Dodge Charger isn't quite as generous as the Mercedes-Benz's.
