Dodge Charger vs. Hyundai Azera Review

Utility
Neither the Dodge nor the Hyundai Azera has a marked advantage when it comes to seating capacity. Towing is significantly more the Dodge Charger's forte than it is the Hyundai Azera's.

Performance
With respect to horsepower, the Dodge Charger packs quite a punch and will knock the Hyundai down a few rungs. On the other hand, bear in mind that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Dimensions
The Dodge's tank is approximately the same size as the Azera's, though the Azera's is a bit larger. The Hyundai Azera and the Dodge Charger compete for the same parking spaces. The Hyundai's shorter wheelbase will give a nimbler feel in daily traffic. However, the Charger is likely to have a smoother, more stable ride.

Convenience
You'll most certainly take the Dodge Charger for a fill-up approximately as often as the Hyundai.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs almost the same to get the Dodge Charger to the dealership as the Hyundai Azera. The Dodge doesn't pale in comparison to the Azera in terms of gas mileage. As far as MSRP, the Azera doesn't cost much less than the Dodge Charger.

Handling
With their comparable turning radii, the Hyundai Azera and the Dodge quite certainly handle roughly the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Dodge Charger's engine is substantially smaller than the Hyundai's. Keep in mind that a smaller engine usually has to work a little harder; on the flip side, smaller engines are often cheaper to fix. Torque equals pickup, and the Hyundai Azera will have picked up and gone by the time the Dodge Charger finally gets moving. Torque is the force that lets you accelerate quickly, and in this respect, the Hyundai is considerably more powerful than the Dodge Charger.

Comfort
Taller drivers will substantially enjoy the extra head room in the Hyundai Azera's front cabin compared to the Charger.

Warranty
The basic warranty that comes with the Dodge Charger isn't quite as generous as the Azera's.
