Dodge Charger vs. Chevrolet Impala Review

Performance
With that kind of horsepower, the Dodge Charger is a genuine speedster.

Handling
With their comparable turning radii, the Impala and the Dodge Charger most certainly handle about the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Impala has a more sizeable engine than the Dodge Charger. Remember that smaller engines typically get better gas mileage, but smaller engines can be stressed more. Torque is the force that lets you accelerate quickly, and in this respect, the Chevrolet Impala is significantly more powerful than the Charger.

Utility
Drivers with frequent kid-duty might favor the Chevrolet Impala over the Dodge Charger. Towing is considerably more the Dodge Charger's forte than it is the Chevrolet Impala's.

Convenience
The Chevrolet Impala's fuel tank will need to be replenished a tad more often than the unit in the Dodge Charger.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Impala offers a bit more head room than the Charger, there honestly isn't much of a difference. The Dodge Charger is not particularly roomier for your passengers than the Chevrolet Impala.

Dimensions
The Impala's tank is approximately the same size as the Dodge Charger's, though the Dodge Charger's is slightly bigger. The Dodge Charger and the Chevrolet Impala compete for the same parking spaces. The Chevrolet Impala's shorter wheelbase may produce a less-settled highway ride but a nimbler feel in daily traffic than the Charger.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs approximately the same to get the Dodge Charger to the dealership as the Impala. The Dodge Charger won't tax your gasoline budget substantially more than the Impala will. The Dodge Charger doesn't pale in comparison to the Chevrolet Impala as far as fuel economy. The Dodge is considerably more expensive than the Chevrolet when it comes to MSRP.

Overview
The Impala and the Dodge Charger have the same basic after-sale protection.
