The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs about the same to get the Dodge Charger to the dealership as the Buick Lucerne. Producing an exact gas mileage evaluation is so tricky that some think not even the federal government can do it, but it looks as though both the Buick Lucerne and the Buick Lucerne perform almost comparably in terms of fuel economy. As far as fuel economy, the Buick Lucerne is a bit better than the Charger, but not by much. As far as MSRP, the Charger doesn't cost much less than the Buick Lucerne.

Utility
Drivers with frequent kid-duty might favor the Buick Lucerne over the Dodge Charger. The Dodge outpulls the Buick Lucerne by a massive margin.

Convenience
The Buick Lucerne's fuel tank will need to be replenished somewhat more often than the unit in the Dodge Charger.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Buick Lucerne offers a bit more head room than the Dodge Charger, there frankly isn't much of a difference. The Buick Lucerne provides more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the Dodge Charger does.

Dimensions
The Buick Lucerne's tank is almost the same size as the Dodge Charger's, though the Charger's is somewhat bigger. The Dodge Charger and the Buick Lucerne compete for the same parking spaces.

Performance
With that kind of horsepower, the Dodge Charger is a genuine sports car.

Handling
With its tighter turning circle, the Dodge Charger is most certainly sprier than the Buick Lucerne, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; on the flip side, bear in mind that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

Drivetrain
The Buick Lucerne has a more sizeable engine than the Dodge Charger. Bear in mind that smaller engines are often cheaper to fix, but smaller engines can be stressed more. The Dodge Charger could learn a lesson or two from the Buick Lucerne in terms of pickup.

The basic warranty that comes with the Dodge Charger isn't quite as generous as the Buick's.
