Neither the Buick LaCrosse nor the Charger has a marked advantage regarding seating capacity. Towing is significantly more the Dodge Charger's forte than it is the Buick LaCrosse's.

Performance
In terms of horsepower, the Dodge Charger packs quite a wallop and will knock the Buick LaCrosse down a few rungs. However, bear in mind that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Dimensions
The Buick LaCrosse and the Dodge Charger compete for the same parking spaces. The Dodge Charger's longer wheelbase will result in a smoother, more stable ride; on the other hand, the Buick LaCrosse may give a more agile feel in daily traffic.

Cost
The Buick LaCrosse isn't much costlier than the Dodge Charger with respect to MSRP.

Drivetrain
The Dodge Charger's engine is slightly smaller than the LaCrosse's, but not terribly so.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Dodge Charger offers a bit more head room than the Buick LaCrosse, there really isn't much of a difference. While the rear of the Buick LaCrosse provides a bit more head- and leg-room than the Dodge Charger, there honestly isn't much of a difference.
