Dodge Charger vs. Acura TL Review

Utility
The Acura TL and the Dodge Charger can accommodate the same number of passengers. The Dodge is likely a better choice than the TL in terms of hauling capacity, especially if you frequently need to carry a lot of suitcases or massive pets. The Dodge Charger outpulls the Acura by a sizeable margin.

Dimensions
The TL's tank is roughly the same size as the Dodge Charger's, though the Dodge Charger's is somewhat bigger. The Acura TL and the Dodge Charger compete for the same parking spaces. The Acura's shorter wheelbase may produce a less-settled highway ride but a more agile feel in daily traffic than the Charger.

Convenience
You most certainly won't have to visit your friendly gas station more often with the Acura TL than with the Dodge Charger, because both offer comparable ranges.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs almost the same to get the Dodge Charger to the dealership as the Acura TL. Producing an exact gas mileage evaluation is so tough that some think not even the federal government can do it, but it looks as though both the Acura TL and the Acura TL perform approximately similarly regarding gas mileage. There really isn't much of a difference in gas mileage here, but if you must know, the TL is somewhat more economical than the Dodge Charger. In terms of MSRP, the Dodge Charger costs substantially less than the TL.

Handling
With their comparable turning circles, the Acura and the Dodge definitely handle approximately the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Dodge Charger's engine is considerably smaller than the Acura TL's. Keep in mind that smaller engines can be stressed more; however, smaller engines typically get better gas mileage. Torque is the force that lets you accelerate quickly, and in this respect, the TL is considerably more powerful than the Dodge Charger. The TL packs quite a punch compared to the Dodge Charger in terms of torque, which is roughly equivalent to acceleration.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Dodge Charger offers a bit more head room than the Acura TL, there honestly isn't much of a difference. The Dodge Charger provides more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the Acura TL does.

Overview
The basic after-sale protection that comes with the Dodge isn't quite as generous as the Acura TL's.
