Dodge Challenger vs. Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class Review

Performance
With that kind of horsepower, both the CLK-Class and the Dodge are legitimate speedsters.

Handling
With their comparable turning radii, the Dodge Challenger and the Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class most definitely handle roughly the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class's engine is a bit smaller than the Dodge Challenger's, but not terribly so. Torque is the force that lets you accelerate quickly, and in this respect, the Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class isn't much more powerful than the Challenger.

Utility
The Dodge Challenger will most certainly prove friendlier than the Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class for those of you with frequent child-cargo.

Convenience
The Mercedes-Benz's fuel tank will need to be replenished more often than the unit in the Dodge Challenger.

Comfort
Taller drivers will significantly enjoy the extra head room in the Dodge Challenger's front cabin compared to the Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class. The Dodge Challenger is not particularly roomier for your passengers than the Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class.

Dimensions
Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Dodge than the Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class because of its bigger tank. The Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class and the Dodge Challenger compete for the same parking spaces. The Mercedes-Benz's shorter wheelbase will likely give a sprier feel in daily traffic. However, the Challenger is likely to have a smoother, more stable ride.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. The Dodge Challenger is substantially cheaper to get to the dealership than the Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class. There frankly isn't much of a difference in gas mileage here, but if you must know, the Dodge is somewhat more economical than the Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class. The CLK-Class won't tax your gas budget significantly more than the Dodge will. In terms of MSRP, the Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class costs tremendously more than the Dodge Challenger.

Warranty
The basic after-sale protection that comes with the Dodge isn't quite as generous as the CLK-Class's.
