With that kind of horsepower, both the BMW M3 and the Dodge Challenger are true sportscars.

Handling
With its tighter turning radius, the Dodge Challenger is most certainly more agile than the BMW, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; however, bear in mind that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

Drivetrain
The BMW M3 has a larger engine than the Challenger. Note that smaller engines typically get better gas mileage, but a smaller engine usually has to work a little harder. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the M3 is substantially more powerful than the Dodge Challenger.

Utility
Drivers with frequent kid-duty might favor the Dodge Challenger over the BMW M3.

Convenience
The BMW M3's fuel tank will need to be replenished more often than the unit in the Dodge Challenger.

While the front cabin in the Dodge Challenger offers a bit more head room than the BMW M3, there honestly isn't much of a difference. While the rear of the BMW M3 provides a bit more head- and leg-room than the Dodge Challenger, there honestly isn't much of a difference.

Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Challenger than the BMW because of its bigger tank. The BMW M3 and the Dodge Challenger compete for the same parking spaces. The Challenger's longer wheelbase will result in a smoother, more stable ride; on the flip side, the M3 may give a sprier feel in daily traffic.

The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. The Dodge is significantly cheaper to get to the dealership than the M3. The M3 pales in comparison to the Dodge Challenger as far as fuel economy. As far as gas mileage, the Dodge Challenger has the BMW beat. The Dodge Challenger is tremendously less pricey than the M3 regarding MSRP.

The basic after-sale protection that comes with the Dodge Challenger isn't quite as generous as the BMW's.
