It costs about the same to get the Dodge Caliber to the dealership as the Subaru Forester. The Subaru won't save you much money at the pump compared to the Caliber. The Subaru Forester's bigger trunk will accommodate more large things than the Dodge Caliber. The Dodge Caliber and the Subaru Forester can accommodate the same number of passengers.

The Dodge Caliber's fuel tank will need to be replenished more often than the unit in the Subaru Forester.

While the front cabin in the Dodge offers a bit more head room than the Forester, there frankly isn't much of a difference. The Dodge Caliber provides more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the Subaru Forester does.
