There's no clear winner between the Dodge and the Scion xB in terms of transporting cargo. The Dodge Caliber and the xB can accommodate the same number of passengers.

Performance
In terms of horsepower, the Dodge Caliber packs quite a punch and will knock the xB down a few rungs. On the flip side, keep in mind that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Dimensions
The Dodge Caliber is markedly heavier than the Scion. Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Caliber than the Scion xB because of its more capacious tank. The Caliber rides lower than the Scion xB, which is a good thing for its center of gravity and ease of access. The xB and the Dodge Caliber compete for the same parking spaces.
