Dodge Caliber vs. Scion tC Review

Handling
With their similar turning radii, the Dodge Caliber and the Scion tC most certainly handle approximately the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Caliber's engine is considerably smaller than the tC's. Keep in mind that smaller engines can be stressed more; however, smaller engines typically get better gas mileage. The Dodge could learn a lesson or two from the Scion tC regarding pickup.

Utility
Neither the Scion nor the Dodge has a marked advantage regarding seating capacity.

Convenience
You most definitely won't have to visit your friendly gas station more often with the tC than with the Caliber, because both offer comparable ranges.

Comfort
Taller drivers will significantly enjoy the extra head room in the Caliber's front cabin compared to the Scion tC. The Dodge Caliber provides more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the Scion does.

Dimensions
The Dodge Caliber's tank is almost the same size as the Scion tC's, though the Scion tC's is a little larger. The Dodge Caliber and the Scion tC compete for the same parking spaces.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs about the same to get the Dodge to the dealership as the Scion tC. The Caliber will save you money at the pump compared to the Scion tC. There isn't much of a difference in gas mileage here, but if you must know, the Dodge Caliber is somewhat more economical than the Scion tC. The Dodge is considerably more expensive than the tC as far as MSRP.

The Dodge Caliber and the Scion tC have the same basic warranty.
