Dodge Caliber vs. Nissan Cube Review

Neither the Dodge Caliber nor the Nissan has a marked advantage with respect to seating capacity.

Performance
With respect to horsepower, the Dodge Caliber packs quite a wallop and will knock the Cube down a few rungs. On the flip side, bear in mind that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Dimensions
The Cube's tank is about the same size as the Caliber's, though the Dodge Caliber's is a bit bigger. The Nissan Cube and the Caliber compete for the same parking spaces.

Convenience
The Dodge Caliber's fuel tank will need to be replenished a tad more often than the unit in the Nissan Cube.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. The Dodge Caliber is substantially cheaper to get to the dealership than the Nissan Cube. The Dodge Caliber will tax your gasoline budget significantly more than the Nissan Cube will. Producing an accurate fuel economy evaluation is so tricky that some think not even the federal government can do it, but it looks as though both the Nissan Cube and the Nissan Cube perform almost comparably as far as gas mileage. The Dodge Caliber is substantially costlier than the Nissan when it comes to MSRP.

Handling
With their comparable turning radii, the Nissan Cube and the Dodge quite certainly handle about the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Dodge Caliber's engine isn't much more massive than the Nissan Cube's. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the Nissan Cube isn't much more powerful than the Dodge.

Comfort
Taller drivers will substantially enjoy the extra head room in the Nissan Cube's front cabin compared to the Caliber. The Nissan Cube is not particularly roomier for your passengers than the Dodge Caliber.

Warranty
The Nissan Cube and the Dodge Caliber have the same basic warranty.
