The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. The Dodge is considerably cheaper to get to the dealership than the Chevrolet Aveo. The Caliber guzzles a lot of gas compared to the Chevrolet Aveo. Producing an exact fuel economy evaluation is so tough that some think not even the federal government can do it, but it looks as though the Aveo is the winner in terms of gas mileage. Regarding MSRP, the Aveo costs tremendously less than the Dodge Caliber.

Utility
The Chevrolet Aveo and the Caliber can accommodate the same number of passengers.

Convenience
You won't have to visit your friendly gas station more often with the Dodge than with the Chevrolet Aveo, because both offer similar ranges.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Caliber offers a bit more head room than the Chevrolet Aveo, there honestly isn't much of a difference. While the rear of the Dodge Caliber provides a bit more head- and leg-room than the Chevrolet Aveo, there frankly isn't much of a difference.

Dimensions
The Chevrolet Aveo's tank is approximately the same size as the Dodge Caliber's, though the Dodge Caliber's is somewhat larger. The Chevrolet and the Caliber compete for the same parking spaces.

Performance
With respect to horsepower, the Dodge Caliber packs quite a wallop and will knock the Chevrolet Aveo down a few rungs. On the other hand, remember that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Handling
With its tighter turning radius, the Chevrolet Aveo is most certainly nimbler than the Dodge Caliber, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; on the flip side, note that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

Drivetrain
The Dodge Caliber's engine isn't much bigger than the Chevrolet Aveo's. Torque is the force that lets you accelerate quickly, and in this respect, the Dodge Caliber is significantly more powerful than the Chevrolet Aveo.
