Dodge Avenger vs. Hyundai Sonata Review

The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs almost the same to get the Hyundai Sonata to the dealership as the Dodge Avenger. The Hyundai won't tax your gas budget significantly more than the Dodge will. As far as gas mileage, the Avenger and the Hyundai Sonata don't differ much. The Avenger isn't much less pricey than the Hyundai with respect to MSRP.

Utility
The Sonata and the Dodge Avenger can accommodate the same number of passengers. Towing is substantially more the Dodge Avenger's forte than it is the Sonata's.

Convenience
You'll most certainly take the Hyundai Sonata for a fill-up almost as often as the Dodge Avenger.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Hyundai Sonata offers a bit more head room than the Dodge Avenger, there frankly isn't much of a difference. The Hyundai Sonata is not particularly roomier for your passengers than the Dodge Avenger.

The Hyundai Sonata's tank is about the same size as the Avenger's, though the Dodge's is a tad larger. The Hyundai Sonata and the Dodge Avenger compete for the same parking spaces.

With their comparable turning circles, the Hyundai Sonata and the Dodge most certainly handle approximately the same into and out of tight spots.

Warranty
The basic warranty that comes with the Dodge isn't quite as generous as the Hyundai Sonata's.
