Dodge Avenger vs. Hyundai Accent Review

As far as horsepower, the Dodge packs quite a punch and will knock the Hyundai down a few rungs. On the other hand, keep in mind that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

With its tighter turning radius, the Hyundai is most certainly sprier than the Dodge Avenger, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; however, keep in mind that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

The Dodge Avenger has a larger engine than the Hyundai Accent. Bear in mind that smaller engines typically get better gas mileage, but a smaller engine usually has to work a little harder. Regarding fuel economy, the Accent beats the Dodge Avenger. The Avenger doesn't pale in comparison to the Hyundai Accent when it comes to fuel economy. Regarding MSRP, the Avenger costs tremendously more than the Hyundai.

The basic warranty that comes with the Avenger isn't quite as generous as the Hyundai Accent's.
