2009 Chrysler Aspen Overview
As the flagship luxury SUV in Chrysler’s lineup, the 2009 Chrysler Aspen can seat the entire family and keep them busy with an array of new-age media gadgetry.

A new 4.7-liter, 303-horsepower Flex-Fuel V-8 engine can run on E85 fuel – a blend of ethanol and gasoline for reduced greenhouse gas emissions. If that isn’t powerful enough, a 5.7-liter, 335-horsepower HEMI® V-8 engine delivers ample torque for passing or towing duties. This engine also features the Multi-Displacement System that automatically shifts from eight to four cylinders during cruising and light acceleration to conserve fuel. HEMI®-powered two-wheel drive Aspen models can tow a best-in-class 8.900 lbs., making your hauling duties a breeze. With available four-wheel drive, the Aspen can handle a variety of on- and off-road duties with aplomb.

The Aspen seats between seven and eight in three rows and receives 13-14 mpg in the city and 18-20 mpg on the highway.  The Aspen competes with the GMC Yukon, Ford Expedition and is available as a hybrid for increased fuel economy.

The Aspen’s available power liftgate opens and closes at the touch of a button on either the keyfob or overhead console, making loading and unloading easy. The Aspen boasts the incredibly versatile UConnect® system that can fulfill your digital dreams through a 6.5-inch touch screen.  Turn your car into a Wi-Fi hotspot and connect laptops, phones, PSPs, PDAs and play online games, surf the internet and download music.  The 30 GB hard drive lets you upload and store up to 6,700 songs, tons of photos and play your iPod/MP3 player through the sound system.  Include Sirius Satellite Radio, turn-by-turn navigation and Bluetooth connectivity and you’ve just turned your car into the ultimate entertainment center. The available Rear Seat Video System lets you take the show on the road, with a DVD player, remote control, and two wireless headphones. Available power-adjustable pedals help the driver find the perfect seating position.

A broad range of safety features and a 5-star frontal crash test rating provide confidence in any driving situation. The standard Electronic Stability Program helps the driver maintain control during extreme steering maneuvers. The ParkSense® Rear Park Assist System uses sound waves to detect nearby vehicles and objects to help you maneuver in tight spaces. Standard dual airbags and supplemental side-curtain airbags in all three rows provide optimum passenger protection in a collision.

The 2009 Chrysler Aspen is a powerful, roomy, and safe full-size SUV that offers a wealth of luxury features and amenities.
