Utility
Neither the Saturn VUE nor the Chevrolet has a marked advantage in terms of seating capacity. Towing is substantially more the VUE's forte than it is the Chevrolet Equinox's.

Dimensions
The Saturn VUE's tank is roughly the same size as the Chevrolet Equinox's, though the Chevrolet Equinox's is a little larger. The Saturn VUE and the Chevrolet Equinox compete for the same parking spaces.

Convenience
You will quite certainly have to visit your friendly gas station more often with the VUE than with the Chevrolet Equinox.

Cost
The Saturn VUE uses a lot of gas compared to the Chevrolet Equinox. Producing a precise fuel economy evaluation is so tricky that some think not even the federal government can do it, but it looks as though the Chevrolet Equinox is the winner with respect to fuel economy. Regarding MSRP, the Saturn VUE costs approximately as much as the Chevrolet Equinox (though the Chevrolet Equinox is a little cheaper). The VUE will cost you a bundle in gas every year compared to the Chevrolet Equinox.

Drivetrain
The Saturn VUE has no lessons to learn with respect to torque from the Chevrolet Equinox.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Equinox offers a bit more head room than the Saturn VUE, there honestly isn't much of a difference. The ampler interior dimensions of the Chevrolet make it considerably more spacious for your passengers than the Saturn VUE.

Warranty
The Chevrolet Equinox and the VUE have the same basic warranty.
