2009 Chevrolet Corvette Overview
While the Chevy Corvette is an iconic car, the 2009 Corvette is the absolute best-of-the-best. It is not only a car of substance but also status. By choosing this high performance sports car you are declaring yourself the king of the road.

The 2009 two-seater comes in variety of trims. The base trim, the targa-roof coupe, comes with 6.2-liter V-8 engine that can produce 430-horsepower. Power up by choosing the Z06 trim, which features a 7.0-liter, 505-horsepower V-8 engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The brand new ZR1 trim comes with a 6.2-liter, 638-horsepower V-8 engine which will blow you away. This engine can propel the car from 0 to 60 in under four seconds. The classic convertible trim comes with a 6.2-liter V-8 engine and the standard features associated with the base model.

The power and precision of the high performing sports car come second only to its safety features. The new for 2009 ZR1 debuts with Magnetic Selective Ride Control Suspension and Brembo ceramic brakes. Brembo brakes are 15-inches (much larger than normal brake rotors), which gives them ultimate power.    All trims come with front and side airbags for the passenger and the driver. Anti-left features include the standard PASS-Key II ignition disable and the Theft lock radio.

Other top of the line standard features include power seats, state of the art audio equipment and OnStar roadside assistance. Add on a programmable garage door opener and Bluetooth compatibility to make your car that much more appealing.

The Corvette blows away its competition, the Ford Shelby GT500 and the Honda S2000, in style and mileage. Depending on the engine size, the Corvette gets about 16 MPG in the city and 26 MPG on the freeway.

The 2009 Chevy Corvette is the crème de la crème of American sport cars. Whether maneuvering crowded city streets or really testing its power on an empty freeway, you will be pleased with one of the finest pieces of engineering in the world.
