Chevrolet Cobalt Review
2010 Chevrolet Cobalt
Price Range: $14,990 - $24,535

Utility
The Chevrolet Cobalt and the average sedan can accommodate the same number of passengers. Towing is substantially more the typical sedan's forte than it is the Chevrolet Cobalt's.

Performance
Regarding horsepower, the average sedan packs quite a punch and will knock the Chevrolet Cobalt down a few rungs. On the flip side, remember that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Dimensions
The average sedan is tremendously more bulky than the Cobalt. Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the typical sedan than the Chevrolet Cobalt because of its larger tank. The Cobalt and the average sedan compete for the same parking spaces. The Cobalt's shorter wheelbase may produce a less-settled highway ride but a more maneuverable feel in daily traffic than the average sedan.

Convenience
The Cobalt's fuel tank will need to be replenished somewhat more often than the unit in the average sedan.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs about the same to get the Cobalt to the dealership as the typical sedan. As far as fuel economy, the Chevrolet Cobalt has the average sedan beat. The Cobalt will save you money at the pump compared to the average sedan. The average sedan is tremendously costlier than the Chevrolet Cobalt as far as MSRP. The average sedan will cost you a lots_of_money in gas every year compared to the Chevrolet Cobalt.

Handling
With its tighter turning radius, the Chevrolet Cobalt is most certainly more maneuverable than the typical sedan, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; on the other hand, keep in mind that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

Drivetrain
The average sedan has a bigger engine than the Cobalt. Keep in mind that smaller engines are often cheaper to fix, but a smaller engine usually has to work a little harder. Torque is the force that lets you accelerate quickly, and in this respect, the average sedan is tremendously more powerful than the Chevrolet Cobalt. Torque equals pickup, and the average sedan will have picked up and gone by the time the Chevrolet Cobalt finally gets moving.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the typical sedan offers a bit more head room than the Cobalt, there honestly isn't much of a difference. The ampler interior dimensions of the average sedan make it more spacious for your passengers than the Chevrolet Cobalt.

Warranty
The basic after-sale protection that comes with the Chevrolet Cobalt isn't quite as generous as the average sedan's.
