Performance
With that kind of horsepower, both the Cadillac and the Lexus GS 460 are genuine sportscars.

Dimensions
The Cadillac STS's tank is approximately the same size as the Lexus GS 460's, though the Lexus's is a bit larger. The Lexus GS 460 and the Cadillac STS compete for the same parking spaces.

Convenience
You won't have to visit your friendly gas station more often with the Cadillac STS than with the Lexus GS 460, as both offer similar mileage ranges.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs almost the same to get the Cadillac STS to the dealership as the Lexus GS 460. When it comes to fuel economy, the STS and the Lexus GS 460 don't differ much. Producing an exact gas mileage evaluation is so difficult that some think not even the federal government can do it, but it looks as though both the Cadillac STS and the Cadillac STS perform almost similarly in terms of fuel economy. In terms of MSRP, the Cadillac costs almost as much as the Lexus GS 460 (though the Lexus GS 460 is a bit cheaper).

Handling
With their similar turning circles, the Lexus GS 460 and the Cadillac STS definitely handle about the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Lexus GS 460 has a bigger engine than the Cadillac STS. Note that smaller engines typically get better gas mileage, but a smaller engine usually has to work a little harder. Torque equals pickup, and the Lexus GS 460 will have picked up and gone by the time the Cadillac STS finally gets moving.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Cadillac offers a bit more head room than the Lexus GS 460, there frankly isn't much of a difference. The Cadillac provides more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the Lexus GS 460 does.

The Lexus GS 460 and the Cadillac STS have the same basic after-sale protection.
