Cadillac STS vs. Jaguar XJ Review

The Jaguar XJ and the STS can accommodate the same number of passengers.

Performance
With that kind of horsepower, both the XJ and the Cadillac STS are legitimate sportscars.

Dimensions
Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Jaguar XJ than the Cadillac STS because of its bigger tank. The STS and the Jaguar XJ compete for the same parking spaces.

Convenience
You will most certainly have to visit your friendly gas station more often with the Cadillac STS than with the Jaguar XJ.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs roughly the same to get the Jaguar XJ to the dealership as the Cadillac. There honestly isn't much of a difference in gas mileage here, but if you must know, the Cadillac STS is somewhat more economical than the Jaguar XJ. Regarding gas mileage, the STS is a bit better than the XJ, but not by much. The Cadillac STS is substantially less pricey than the Jaguar XJ in terms of MSRP.

Handling
With their similar turning circles, the STS and the Jaguar XJ definitely handle almost the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Jaguar XJ's engine is significantly more massive than the Cadillac STS's. Keep in mind that bigger engines may use more gasoline than smaller ones. The Cadillac could learn a lesson or two from the Jaguar with respect to pickup.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Cadillac STS offers a bit more head room than the Jaguar XJ, there honestly isn't much of a difference. While the rear of the Jaguar XJ provides a bit more head- and leg-room than the Cadillac STS, there really isn't much of a difference.

Warranty
The Cadillac and the Jaguar XJ have the same basic warranty.
