Cadillac STS vs. Infiniti M45x Review

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs about the same to get the Infiniti M45x to the dealership as the Cadillac STS. Producing an accurate fuel economy evaluation is so tough that some think not even the federal government can do it, but it looks as though the Cadillac STS is the winner in terms of fuel economy. The Infiniti requires a lot of gas compared to the Cadillac STS. As far as MSRP, the STS costs about as much as the Infiniti (though the Infiniti is a tad cheaper). The Cadillac STS will save you a bundle at the pump every year compared to the M45x.

Utility
The Cadillac STS and the M45x can accommodate the same number of passengers.

Convenience
The M45x's fuel tank will need to be replenished a bit more often than the unit in the STS.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Infiniti M45x offers a bit more head room than the Cadillac, there frankly isn't much of a difference. The STS is not particularly roomier for your passengers than the Infiniti.

Dimensions
The Infiniti M45x is significantly more bulky than the Cadillac STS. Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Infiniti M45x than the Cadillac STS because of its bigger tank. The Infiniti M45x and the STS compete for the same parking spaces.

Performance
With that kind of horsepower, both the Cadillac STS and the M45x are true sportscars.

Handling
With their comparable turning circles, the Infiniti M45x and the STS definitely handle about the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The M45x has a bigger engine than the Cadillac STS. Bear in mind that smaller engines typically get better gas mileage, but a smaller engine usually has to work a little harder. The Cadillac STS could learn a lesson or two from the Infiniti M45x with respect to pickup.

Warranty
The basic after-sale protection that comes with the Cadillac STS isn't quite as generous as the Infiniti M45x's.
