Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the Cadillac STS packs quite a wallop and will knock the 528 down a few rungs. On the flip side, keep in mind that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.
Handling
With their similar turning circles, the Cadillac and the BMW most definitely handle almost the same into and out of tight spots.

The BMW 528's engine is substantially smaller than the STS's. Remember that smaller engines can be stressed more; however, smaller engines typically get better gas mileage.
