The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs about the same to get the Cadillac to the dealership as the Audi A6. As far as gas mileage, the Cadillac STS is somewhat better than the Audi A6, but not by much. The Audi isn't much more expensive than the Cadillac with respect to MSRP.
