Cadillac SRX vs. Saab 9-7X Review

Utility
The 9-7X is likely a better choice than the Cadillac SRX as far as hauling capacity, especially if you often need to carry a lot of suitcases or massive dogs. Drivers with frequent kid-duty might favor the Cadillac SRX over the Saab 9-7X. The Saab 9-7X outpulls the SRX by a massive margin.

Performance
With that kind of horsepower, both the Cadillac SRX and the Saab 9-7X are genuine sportscars.

Dimensions
The Saab is quite a bit heavier than the Cadillac SRX. The Cadillac SRX's tank is about the same size as the Saab 9-7X's, though the Saab 9-7X's is somewhat bigger. The 9-7X and the Cadillac SRX compete for the same parking spaces.

Convenience
The SRX's fuel tank will need to be replenished a tad more often than the unit in the 9-7X.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs roughly the same to get the Saab to the dealership as the SRX. The SRX will save you money at the pump compared to the Saab 9-7X. With respect to MSRP, the Saab 9-7X doesn't cost much less than the Cadillac SRX.

Handling
The Cadillac has markedly wider tires than the Saab. Note that wider tires could improve handling, while narrower tires may provide better handling in deep snow. With its tighter turning radius, the 9-7X is very likely more agile than the Cadillac SRX, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; however, note that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

Drivetrain
The 9-7X's engine is significantly bigger than the Cadillac SRX's. Remember that bigger engines may use more gasoline than smaller ones. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the Saab 9-7X isn't much more powerful than the SRX.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Cadillac offers a bit more head room than the Saab 9-7X, there frankly isn't much of a difference. The Cadillac SRX offers more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the Saab 9-7X does.

Overview
The 9-7X and the SRX have the same basic warranty.
