2009 Cadillac SRX Overview
Blending the comfort and classic style of Cadillac sedans with the size, power and utility of an SUV, the all new 2009 Cadillac SRX crossover brings the best of both worlds together creating the ultimate in luxury.

Starting with the classic V-shaped grille, standard 17-inch wheels, and bold front fascia, the SRX truly looks like half sedan and half SUV.  Looks aren’t the only thing the SRX has going for it—the feel is just as intoxicating.  Under the hood you have a choice between a 3.6-liter, 255-horsepower 5-speed automatic V-6, or a 4.6-liter, 320-horsepower 6-speed automatic V-8 beast.  Power and fuel economy are par for the course with 13-15 MPG city and 20-23 MPG highway.  Speaking of the course, the SRX is in competition with the Lexus RX 350, Acura MDX and Volvo XC90.

Because it’s a Cadillac and Cadillac’s are synonymous with luxury, you can expect countless features available for those who truly appreciate sophistication and functionality.  Some of those features include, GM’s OnStar communication system, 8-speaker Bose® sound system, AM/FM stereo with single-slot CD player.  Dual-zone climate control and keyless entry with Adaptive Remote Start, which enables drivers to start the engine, adjust the interior temperature and turn on defrosters from up to 200 feet away scream sophistication.  Even though the SRX is built on the same platform as the CTS sedan, the SRX promises a low center of gravity and can fit up to seven passengers and 69.5 feet of cargo space.

Most options are available on the V-8 model and they include, 18 and 20-inch wheels, Bose® 5.1 sound system with DVD navigation, voice recognition, GPS-based, 6.5-inch diagonal touch-screen with voice and text guidance, DVD playback capabilities, Ultraview sunroof, wood accents on center stack and console, steering wheel and shifter knob.

Safety comes standard with six air bags and four-channel antilock brakes. StabiliTrak stability control system with Brake Assist keeps the car under control in emergency maneuvers and enhances handling.  Available Xenon High-Intensity Discharge headlamps offer superior visibility and illumination.

The 2009 Cadillac SRX successfully blends luxury, safety, power, space, innovation and style that make it almost impossible to pass up.
