Cadillac Overview:
For Cadillac, 2010 brings a plethora of changes.  The first and most recognizable one is the complete redesign of the SRX midsize crossover.  Cadillac has scaled down the SRX in every regard, including price, weight, and power.  The SRX now seats five, ditches the V-8 for a 265-horsepower, 3.0-liter V-6 and rests on a new front-wheel drive platform.  The smaller engine accounts for slight increases in fuel economy. The SRX now competes with the Audi Q5, Acura MDX, Lexus RX and Lincoln MKX.

Cadillac’s CTS sport sedan undergoes several changes for 2010 including the addition of the CTS Sport Wagon.  The CTS Sport Wagon boasts 25 cubic feet of space behind the rear seats and 53 cubic feet when the seats are folded.  Both the wagon and the sedan receive a new 270-horsepower, 3.0-liter V-6 base engine. The crazy-powerful CTS-V sport sedan features a supercharged 556-horsepower V-8 engine with Magnetic Ride Control shock absorbers and micro-fiber interior trim.

The STS midsize sedan features a 302-horsepower, 3.6-liter direct-injection V-6, while the much more powerful STS-V has been discontinued.

Cadillac’s flagship is its full-size DTS sedan offered with a choice of two Northstar V-8 engines. The DTS can hold five or six passengers and competes with the Lincoln MKS, Volvo S80 and Chrysler 300C.

The Escalade Hybrid SUV is Cadillac’s first entry into the fuel-saving segment. The Escalade Hybrid features a 2-Mode Hybrid system that incorporates a 332-horsepower, 6.0-liter V-8 gasoline engine and a 300-volt battery pack. Fuel economy is increased 50 percent and the Escalade Hybrid gets 20 mpg in the city and 21 mpg on the highway.

Not to be forgotten is the gasoline only, stylish and spacious Escalade that seats up to eight people and hosts many luxurious appointments. Cadillac also offers the long wheelbase Escalade ESV which adds nearly 10 inches of legroom and increases cargo room from 16.9 cubic feet to 45.8 cubic feet. The Escalade EXT, which is Cadillac’s version of GM’s truck/SUV crossover, like all other Escalade’s gains USB connectivity and front passenger side airbags.

The XLR and XLR-V have been discontinued.
