2009 Cadillac Escalade ESV Overview
For those who wish to attain the status and class of the Cadillac Escalade, but require more space, the 2009 Cadillac Escalade ESV features a long-wheelbase giving you and your family and friends all the room in the world.

Available in two-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, the ESV is motivated by a lusty 6.2-liter, 403-horsepower V-8 with Variable Valve Timing  That beast of an engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with Driver Shift Control and tow/haul mode, which is perfectly suited for big-time pulling duties. The full-time all-wheel drive system offers enhanced all-weather maneuverability and control.  The Escalade ESV gains E85 capability so that you don’t have to emit as much carbon.  The ESV gets mediocre fuel economy with 12 MPG in the city and 19 MPG on the highway and competes with the Lincoln Navigator, Lexus LX 570 and Infiniti QX56.

Leather seats are available to coddle all eight occupants, while standard tri-zone climate control features individual settings for the front and rear seating areas. Passengers sitting in the third row gain 10 inches of room and cargo volume behind the third row increases from 16.9 cubic feet to 45.8 cubic feet.  The optional Ultra Luxury Collection includes a wealth of amazing amenities, including heated and cooled leather front seats and a heated steering wheel for all-season comfort.

The optional rear-seat entertainment system features an in-dash DVD player with two roof-mounted flip-down 8-inch diagonal screens, four wireless headphones, and remote game plug-in to entertain rear-seat passengers. The available DVD-based Navigation radio includes an 8-inch LCD touch screen, 6-disc DVD changer, DVD audio/video, MP3 compatibility, and Premium Bose® Surround Sound System for unparalleled sound quality, along with turn-by-turn directions and voice prompts for detailed directions. Available huge 22-inch 7-spoke chromed aluminum wheels are the ultimate luxury accessory.

Dual-stage front airbags, head-curtain side air bags with rollover protection for all three rows, and side airbags protect all passengers in a collision. 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes stop the vehicle with authority and minimize wheel lockup during hard braking. Standard StabiliTrak stability control system with rollover mitigation enhances vehicle control during evasive maneuvers and activates safety features if an imminent rollover is detected. Standard all-speed traction control has brake and engine intervention to limit wheelspin in slippery conditions and maximize traction.

If you want big-time luxury and the one of the ultimate status symbol SUVs, the 2009 Cadillac Escalade ESV is the ticket.
