2009 Cadillac DTS Overview
If it isn’t broke—don’t fix it.  After going through minor enhancements to last year’s model, the 2009 Cadillac DTS has the winning formula of power, comfort and luxury.

Formerly known as the Cadillac DeVille, the DTS has available two different, powerful engines.  If you think that the base 4.6-liter, 275-horsepower Northstar V-8 is fast, you’ll want to feast on the quick-revving 4.6-liter, 292-horsepower Northstar V-8.  The standard transmission is a 4-speed electronically-controlled automatic.  Getting 15 MPG city and 23 MPG highway is on par with the competition.  Speaking of the competition, the DTS is comparable in power to the Lincoln MKS, Volvo S80 and Chrysler 330C.

Luxury interior touches include dark burled walnut wood trim.  The available Bose® Surround Sound System features an in-dash 6-disc CD changer. An available touch-screen DVD-based Navigation system features voice recognition and detailed maps and directions. XM Satellite Radio and General Motors OnStar® service comes standard and provides turn-by-turn navigation, vehicle diagnostics, automatic crash response and hands-free calling.  6-passenger seating includes front massage seats and 4-way articulating headrests making it even more comfortable to seat up to six occupants. Standard Tri-Zone automatic climate control features independent settings for front and rear seats. Standard ultrasonic front and rear parking assist utilizes sonar and sensors in the bumpers to make parallel parking easier.

Exterior refinement includes Cadillac’s classic bold egg crate grille, 17-inch wheels, optional Magnetic Ride Control, new turn signals and exterior colors: Radiant Silver, Gray Flannel and Ocean Pearl Tricoat.

Safety comes standard with six airbags and all-disc antilock brakes.  Handling and on-road feel comes from available Magnetic Ride Control, which has a 4-wheel independent design and an automatic rear-level control system to absorb bumps and road imperfections with ease. StabiliTrak stability control system with Brake Assist keeps the car under control in emergency maneuvers and enhances handling. Available Xenon High-Intensity Discharge headlamps offer superior visibility and illumination. Side Blind Zone Alert is available, which alerts the driver to any vehicles entering the blind spots, while the optional speed limit advisor reminds you when you are going too fast.

Feel the power of luxury and experience the style only Cadillac can offer in the 2009 Cadillac DTS.
