Buick Enclave vs. Mazda CX-9 Review

Handling
The Enclave and the Mazda have about similar tires. With their similar turning radii, the CX-9 and the Buick Enclave quite certainly handle approximately the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Buick's engine isn't much more sizeable than the Mazda's. The Mazda CX-9 has no lessons to learn when it comes to pickup from the Buick Enclave.

Utility
The Buick Enclave will definitely prove friendlier than the Mazda for those of you with frequent kid-cargo. There's no clear winner between the Buick Enclave and the Mazda when it comes to hauling capacity. Towing is markedly more the Buick's forte than it is the Mazda CX-9's.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Buick Enclave offers a bit more head room than the Mazda CX-9, there really isn't much of a difference. The Mazda offers more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the Buick Enclave does.

Dimensions
The Buick Enclave is a little heavier than the Mazda. The Mazda's tank is about the same size as the Buick Enclave's, though the Enclave's is a tad larger. The Mazda CX-9 and the Buick compete for the same parking spaces.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. The Mazda CX-9 is significantly cheaper to get to the dealership than the Buick Enclave. With respect to MSRP, the Buick Enclave costs about as much as the Mazda CX-9 (though the Mazda CX-9 is a tad cheaper).
