Buick Enclave vs. Acura RDX Review

Handling
With their comparable turning radii, the Acura RDX and the Buick Enclave most definitely handle about the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Acura's engine is tremendously smaller than the Buick Enclave's. Remember that smaller engines can be stressed more; however, smaller engines are often cheaper to fix.

Utility
The Buick Enclave will most definitely prove more practical than the Acura RDX for those of you with frequent child-cargo. The Buick Enclave outpulls the Acura RDX by a sizeable margin.

Convenience
The Acura's fuel tank will need to be replenished more often than the unit in the Buick Enclave.

Comfort
Taller drivers will substantially enjoy the extra head room in the Enclave's front cabin compared to the Acura RDX. While the rear of the Buick Enclave offers a bit more head- and leg-room than the Acura, there honestly isn't much of a difference.

Dimensions
The Buick is considerably more bulky than the Acura RDX. Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Buick Enclave than the RDX because of its bigger tank. The Acura RDX and the Buick Enclave compete for the same parking spaces. The Acura's shorter wheelbase will likely give a sprier feel in daily traffic. On the flip side, the Buick Enclave is likely to have a smoother, more stable ride.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs about the same to get the Enclave to the dealership as the RDX. When it comes to fuel economy, the Buick Enclave and the Acura RDX don't differ much. When it comes to MSRP, the Buick Enclave costs roughly as much as the RDX (though the RDX is slightly cheaper).

Overview
The Acura RDX and the Buick Enclave have the same basic warranty.
