Buick Enclave vs. Acura MDX Review

The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs about the same to get the Buick Enclave to the dealership as the Acura. The MDX won't tax your gasoline budget considerably more than the Buick Enclave will. The MDX is substantially more expensive than the Buick Enclave as far as MSRP.

Utility
The Buick Enclave will definitely prove more convenient than the Acura MDX for those of you with frequent child-cargo. Towing is considerably more the Acura MDX's forte than it is the Buick Enclave's.

Convenience
The Acura MDX's fuel tank will need to be replenished more often than the unit in the Buick Enclave.

Comfort
Taller drivers will considerably enjoy the extra head room in the Buick Enclave's front cabin compared to the Acura MDX. The Acura is not particularly more spacious for your passengers than the Enclave.

Dimensions
The Acura MDX's tank is roughly the same size as the Buick's, though the Enclave's is a bit larger. The Acura MDX and the Buick Enclave compete for the same parking spaces. The Buick's longer wheelbase will result in a smoother, more stable ride; however, the Acura MDX may give a more agile feel in daily traffic.

Handling
With their comparable turning radii, the Acura MDX and the Enclave most certainly handle about the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Enclave's engine is a tad smaller than the Acura MDX's, but not terribly so.

Warranty
The Buick and the Acura have the same basic after-sale protection.
