BMW X5 vs. Volvo XC90 Review

Cost
The Volvo XC90 doesn't pale in comparison to the BMW X5 regarding fuel economy. Producing an exact gas mileage evaluation is so difficult that some think not even the federal government can do it, but it looks as though both the X5 and the X5 perform approximately similarly in terms of gas mileage. With respect to MSRP, the BMW X5 costs markedly more than the Volvo XC90. The Volvo is considerably less expensive than the BMW X5 in terms of final price.

Utility
The XC90's bigger trunk will accommodate more sizeable things than the BMW X5. The XC90 will very likely prove handier than the BMW X5 for those of you with frequent child-cargo. While the front cabin in the BMW offers a bit more head room than the Volvo XC90, there frankly isn't much of a difference. The BMW X5 is not particularly roomier for your passengers than the Volvo XC90.

The BMW X5 is slightly heavier than the Volvo XC90. Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the BMW X5 than the Volvo XC90 because of its more capacious tank. The BMW X5 and the XC90 compete for the same parking spaces.

With that kind of horsepower, both the BMW X5 and the Volvo XC90 are veritable sportscars.
