The Lincoln Navigator L will definitely prove handier than the BMW X5 for those of you with frequent kid-cargo. The Lincoln Navigator L is likely a better choice than the BMW as far as hauling capacity, especially if you often need to carry a lot of gear or sizeable dogs. The Lincoln Navigator L outpulls the BMW X5 by a sizeable margin.

Dimensions
The Lincoln Navigator L is tremendously more bulky than the BMW X5. Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Lincoln Navigator L than the BMW because of its bigger tank. The BMW X5 fits in smaller parking spaces than the Lincoln. The BMW X5's shorter wheelbase may produce a less-settled highway ride but a nimbler feel in daily traffic than the Lincoln.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs roughly the same to get the BMW X5 to the dealership as the Lincoln Navigator L. In terms of MSRP, the X5 costs substantially less than the Lincoln Navigator L.
