The Land Rover Range Rover Sport and the BMW X5 have similar-sized engines, with a slight advantage to the BMW X5. The BMW X5 could learn a lesson or two from the Land Rover Range Rover Sport as far as torque. Torque equals pickup, and the Land Rover will have picked up and gone by the time the X5 finally gets moving.
