BMW X5 vs. Infiniti QX56 Review

Drivers with frequent child-duty might favor the Infiniti over the BMW X5. There's no clear winner between the Infiniti QX56 and the BMW X5 in terms of hauling capacity. Towing is significantly more the QX56's forte than it is the BMW X5's.

Dimensions
The Infiniti QX56 is significantly heavier than the X5. Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the QX56 than the BMW X5 because of its larger tank. The BMW X5 and the Infiniti compete for the same parking spaces.

Convenience
The Infiniti QX56's fuel tank will need to be replenished more often than the unit in the BMW X5.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs about the same to get the BMW X5 to the dealership as the Infiniti. The Infiniti QX56 will tax your gas budget tremendously more than the BMW will. The Infiniti QX56 pales in comparison to the X5 in terms of gas mileage. The BMW X5 is substantially less pricey than the Infiniti in terms of MSRP. The BMW X5 will save you a bundle at the pump every year compared to the Infiniti.

Handling
With their similar turning radii, the Infiniti QX56 and the BMW X5 quite certainly handle roughly the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The BMW X5's engine is tremendously smaller than the Infiniti QX56's. Remember that a smaller engine usually has to work a little harder; on the flip side, smaller engines typically get better gas mileage. The BMW could learn a lesson or two from the Infiniti QX56 with respect to pickup. Torque equals pickup, and the Infiniti QX56 will have picked up and gone by the time the BMW X5 finally gets moving.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Infiniti QX56 offers a bit more head room than the BMW, there really isn't much of a difference. The Infiniti QX56 provides more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the X5 does.

Warranty
The basic warranty that comes with the BMW X5 isn't quite as generous as the Infiniti's.
