2010 BMW 650 Overview
The sleek and powerful BMW 650i luxury sports coupe and convertible remains unchanged for 2010, offering up all the performance and interior trimmings you’ll ever need.

The 2010 BMW 650i is available in rear-wheel drive and equipped with a hefty 360-horsepower, 4.8-liter V-8 engine coupled to a six-speed automatic transmission with auto-manual shift or six-speed manual. EPA estimated fuel economy ratings are 14-15 mpg in the city and 21-23 mpg on the highway.

Competing with the Jaguar XK, Mercedes-Benz SL and Porsche 911 in the luxury sports car segment, the BMW 650i rides low to the ground and features a wide stance and an elongated nose. Adaptive xenon headlights turn in the direction you steer. The 650i rests on standard 18-inch alloy wheels with available 19-inch alloys. The coupe gets a tilting panorama glass roof while the convertible receives a power soft-top and retractable rear window.

Inside, the 2010 BMW 650i is completely adorned in leather and seats up to four occupants. Comfort and convenience features include dual-zone automatic climate control, Bluetooth capability and eight-way power front seats with driver memory. Hardware includes a navigation system with voice activation and the latest version of BMW’s iDrive, which utilizes an LCD screen and console-mounted dial to control audio, climate and communication functions.

An eight-speaker CD stereo system is standard with the option to upgrade to a premium sound system with an in-dash six-CD changer and a USB/MP3 adapter. The coupe offers 13 cubic feet of trunk volume, while the convertible has 12.4 cubic feet. Both utilize a pass-through feature to accommodate longer items. In addition to 19-inch alloys, a Sport Package adds a sport-tuned suspension, body kit and sport-themed seats. A Cold Weather Package offers a heated steering wheel and front seats.

The 2010 BMW 650 is absolutely packed with standard and available safety technologies, starting with a suite of airbags that include front knee, chest, side-impact and side curtains, active head restraints, antilock brakes, an electronic stability system with traction control and adaptive brake lights to warn traffic behind you of heavy braking. An infrared night vision display, lane departure warning system and adaptive cruise control, which detects traffic ahead and automatically sets a buffer zone, are all available as individual options.

Whether you opt for the luxury sports coupe or convertible, the 2010 BMW 650i is sure to turn heads as you cruise by.
