BMW 328 vs. Subaru Outback Review

Handling
The Subaru Outback and the 3 Series have approximately similar tires. With its tighter turning radius, the Outback is quite certainly nimbler than the BMW 3 Series, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; on the other hand, remember that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

Drivetrain
The 3 Series's engine is substantially bigger than the Subaru Outback's. Keep in mind that more massive engines may use more gas than smaller ones. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the Subaru Outback is substantially more powerful than the BMW 3 Series.

Utility
There's no clear winner between the Subaru and the BMW 3 Series as far as transporting cargo. Neither the BMW 3 Series nor the Subaru Outback has a marked advantage regarding seating capacity.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Subaru Outback offers a bit more head room than the BMW 3 Series, there really isn't much of a difference. While the rear of the BMW 3 Series offers a bit more head- and leg-room than the Subaru Outback, there honestly isn't much of a difference.

Dimensions
The BMW 3 Series is a little more ponderous than the Subaru Outback. The 3 Series's tank is approximately the same size as the Subaru Outback's, though the Subaru Outback's is slightly bigger. The BMW 3 Series and the Subaru Outback compete for the same parking spaces.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs approximately the same to get the Subaru Outback to the dealership as the BMW. When it comes to MSRP, the BMW costs markedly more than the Subaru Outback.
