BMW 328 vs. Nissan 370Z Review

Performance
With that kind of horsepower, the Nissan 370Z is a true sports car. As far as horsepower, the Nissan packs quite a punch and will knock the BMW 328 down a few rungs. However, keep in mind that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Handling
With its tighter turning radius, the 370Z is most certainly more maneuverable than the BMW 328, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; however, note that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

Drivetrain
The Nissan has a larger engine than the BMW 328. Keep in mind that smaller engines typically get better gas mileage, but a smaller engine usually has to work a little harder. The Nissan 370Z packs quite a wallop compared to the BMW with respect to torque, which is roughly equivalent to acceleration.

Utility
The BMW 328 will most definitely prove friendlier than the Nissan for those of you with frequent kid-cargo.

Convenience
The BMW 328's fuel tank will need to be replenished a bit more often than the unit in the Nissan.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the BMW offers a bit more head room than the 370Z, there really isn't much of a difference.

Dimensions
Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Nissan than the BMW 328 because of its larger tank. The Nissan 370Z and the BMW 328 compete for the same parking spaces. The BMW 328's longer wheelbase will likely result in a smoother, more stable ride; however, the Nissan 370Z may give a more maneuverable feel in daily traffic.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. The Nissan 370Z is substantially cheaper to get to the dealership than the BMW 328. When it comes to fuel economy, the 328 and the Nissan 370Z don't differ much. The 370Z isn't much less expensive than the 328 in terms of MSRP.

Overview
The basic warranty that comes with the Nissan 370Z isn't quite as generous as the BMW 328's.
