The Infiniti has a more sizeable engine than the BMW 328. Bear in mind that smaller engines are often cheaper to fix, but a smaller engine usually has to work a little harder. The Infiniti G37 packs quite a punch compared to the BMW 328 as far as torque, which is roughly equivalent to acceleration. The BMW 328 could learn a lesson or two from the Infiniti G37 when it comes to torque.
