BMW 328 vs. Dodge Viper Review

Performance
With that kind of horsepower, the Dodge Viper is a legitimate speedster.

Handling
With its tighter turning circle, the 328 is most certainly nimbler than the Dodge, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; on the other hand, bear in mind that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

Drivetrain
The Dodge Viper's engine is tremendously more massive than the 328's. Keep in mind that more sizeable engines may use more gasoline than smaller ones. The Viper packs quite a wallop compared to the BMW 328 in terms of torque, which is roughly equivalent to acceleration. Torque equals pickup, and the Dodge Viper will have picked up and gone by the time the BMW 328 finally gets moving.

Utility
The BMW 328 will most definitely prove more practical than the Dodge Viper for those of you with frequent child-cargo.

Convenience
You will quite certainly have to visit your friendly gas station more often with the Dodge Viper than with the BMW 328.

Comfort
Taller drivers will considerably enjoy the extra head room in the BMW 328's front cabin compared to the Dodge Viper.

Dimensions
The Dodge Viper's tank is roughly the same size as the BMW's, though the BMW's is a little larger. The Dodge Viper and the BMW compete for the same parking spaces. The Dodge Viper's shorter wheelbase may produce a less-settled highway ride but a sprier feel in daily traffic than the BMW 328.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs almost the same to get the BMW 328 to the dealership as the Viper. The Dodge Viper requires a lot of gas compared to the BMW. Producing a precise fuel economy evaluation is so tricky that some think not even the federal government can do it, but it looks as though the BMW 328 is the winner as far as gas mileage. With respect to MSRP, the 328 costs tremendously less than the Viper. The Viper will cost you a lots_of_money in gasoline every year compared to the BMW 328.

Warranty
The basic after-sale protection that comes with the Dodge Viper isn't quite as generous as the BMW 328's.
