2010 Audi TTS Overview
Turbocharged performance and seductive design meet exquisite craftsmanship in the 2010 Audi TTS.

This sweet German two-door is available as a four-seat coupe and a two-seat roadster. Under the hood is a 265-horsepower, 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that features FSI direct-injection technology. This turbo-four operates with excellent throttle response and minimal turbo lag for great acceleration in almost any situation. Power is transferred through a six-speed dual-clutch gearbox that provides almost instantaneous gear changes - as the TTS’s transmission starts disengaging one gear it is already engaging the next one. Gear shifts can be directed manually or left in automatic mode. The drivetrain is finished with Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive system, featuring an electronic-locking front differential.

Fuel economy is rated at 21 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway, which is significantly higher than the two-seat-only Nissan 370Z and BMW Z4. Xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lights join a tastefully sporty front end design that is high-tech, fun and yet serious in appearance. Finely sculpted body work, TTS-specific badging and quad exhaust tips finish off the exterior flair.

A quick-folding three-layer fabric top protects the fabulous roadster interior and occupants from wind, rain, and exterior noise. That fabulous interior features dazzling aluminum trim and leather and Alcantara® seats. Silk Nappa leather seats are available, as well as Fine Nappa leather seats with baseball glove style stitching. The lightweight, flat-bottomed steering wheel features magnesium and leather construction for a finish that is pleasing to the sight and touch.

For your traveling pleasure, Audi’s Navigation System Plus displays spectacular 3D map graphics on a 6.5-inch LCD screen. MP3 memory card slots and a six-CD changer are also included in this package. The Audi Magnetic Ride system uses shocks filled with magnetically charged fluid. Computer controls change the damping rates to match the driving situation, and the driver can choose between Normal and Sport modes for soft comfort or stiff fun.

Audi’s all-aluminum space frame structure makes the TTS an excellent crash-worthy vehicle, in concert with a good helping of airbags. Antilock brakes and a stability control system keep the 2010 Audi TTS composed during evasive maneuvers so accidents are avoided.

Speed, agility and luxury merge to create a moving experience in the 2010 Audi TTS.
