2009 Audi TTS Overview
As Audi’s high-performance version of the TT, the brand-new 2009 Audi TTS offers more power in addition to the refinement and unique styling that are synonymous with Audi.

The TTS is a pumped-up trim of the TT and is available as a Coupe or convertible Roadster.  Both versions feature a 2.0-liter turbocharged, 265-horsepower in-line, four-cylinder, spark-ignition engine with direct injection that is mated to a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.  The TTS uses magnetic ride and MacPherson front suspension with aluminum subframe that enhances the TTS’ performance and handling, giving the driver a tighter and more responsive feel.   Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive system offers a faster transfer of power between the front and rear wheels.  The TTS gets an efficient 21 MPG in the city and 29 MPG on the highway and competes with the BMW Z4 and the Nissan Z.

Sophisticated appointments abound in the TTS.  Unique bi-xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lights, a larger lower air intake, lowered rocker panels on the sides, rear diffuser and quad exhaust pipes differentiate the TTS from other TT trims. A retractable rear spoiler can be extended at 75 mph and retracted at 50 mph.  18- and 19-inch wheels, leather upholstery, aluminum interior accents, race-inspired front bucket seats and paddle shifters are performance driven enhancements.

When it comes to high-tech gadgetry and sound, the TTS does not disappoint.  Choose between the Premium, Premium Plus and Prestige Packages.  The Audi Concert features AM/FM stereo with CD player, Radio Data System (RDS), which displays station, track and artist info and Graduated Audio Level Adjustment (GALA) makes sure that the volume levels adjust to match outside noise.  The Audi navigation system with six-disc CD changer, Audi parking system, auxiliary input jack, Bluetooth connectivity and 12 speaker, 255-watt BOSE sound system with AudioPilot are optional.

Safety comes standard on the TTS.  Full-size dual threshold airbags, seat-mounted chest side airbags and knee airbags for the driver and front passenger come standard.  The Electronic Stabilization Program (ESP) works in conjunction with the Anti-Lock Brake System, Electronic Brake-Force Distribution, Electronic Differential Lock and Traction Control to ensure maximum response and handling in any driving environment.

Quench you thirst for speed, style and safety with the all-new 2009 Audi TTS.
